Hand In Hand

This new series like most of my artwork comes from an emotional place, and this time specifically feeling fragile. On my way to visit a friend I was given the gift of driving in the fog. It awakened my current state of mind. Tired, foggy, and overwhelmed by the heaviness of life. I stared off at the trees in the distant as I was driving. I was reminded that in spite of all the harsh environment changes they stand tall waiting for better days. In their nakedness they still stand strong but its only because their roots run deep. I was mesmerized by their beauty + the example of how I want to embrace the storms that come my way. I hope these pieces can remind you what you can endure and bring encouragement that you are strong.
