Every year I have the need to buy + wrap my gifts with different wrapping paper from the years before. And this year I am OBSESSED with the Hearth + Hand wrapping paper at Target right now. I had decided earlier this year that I was going to start from scratch with all my Christmas décor because I felt like I needed a change. I had decided green, black, gold, and white were going to be colors and I couldn’t believe how perfect the new line by Chip & Joanna Gaines would be for just that.
I bought everything I needed for wrapping my gifts from Target this year which made it extremely easy for me. I found HOHOHO tags in the HotSpot for $1. I even bought the cutest little red mitten cookie cutters (which I thought would be super cute since everyone refers to Michigan as the Mitten) to add as gift toppers, but some how they were missed placed when I needed them for these pictures. Oh well! But Target has like 6-8 different small adorable cookie cutters that would be perfect to add to any gifts.
But I also know a couple creatives that design their own wrapping paper here in town that are absolutely perfect for the holidays.
Anyways, I thought I would share some other inspirational gift wrapping that are absolutely stunning + simple.
1. DIY your own wrapping paper
2. adding greenery to plain paper
3. reusing materials
Last year, for my dinner club ladies I bought them all kitchen mittens from anthropologie and then filled them up with fun kitchen goodies, but I used the oven mitt as the gift wrap. I was super happy with how they turned out + they ended up looking so cute!
What are some of your favorite ways to wrap gifts? Any special toppers that are your go-tos every year? I almost always have to add a little something to the top of my presents. Personally, I love the presentation almost as much as them opening the gift. Happy gift wrapping!
